Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be converted from a single to a double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is able to be set up to a triple travel system with the addition of an infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in all and is the most highly rated stroller. This model utilizes Baby Jogger's soft, breathable TENCEL fabrics that help with thermal regulation and are sustainable sources. It has an elegant leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, and comes with an abdominal bar. It folds 20% smaller than the leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is also lighter.
It has a moderate-sized shade and a magnetic peek-aboo window, which is easy to open or close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of any height. The seats recline and there is an adjustment button for the footwell to assist you in positioning your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of room, but we would have liked an easier latch. It's easy to access, but we discovered the zippers to be a little frustrating since they need to be removed completely and reattached to each use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breaks that are easy to install and release by pulling a lever on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It's barefoot and sandal-friendly and a significant improvement over the awkward toe-pinch brake lever that some of the competitors use.
This is the only stroller that we have tested that can take two infant seats. It's an excellent choice for parents who have twins or an infant on the way. It can be used to fit the majority of infant car seats from major brands with an adapter. We tested it with Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good choice for families that already have an infant car seat and are looking for a stroller that can accommodate it however, you might be better off with another convertible stroller that can fit an additional infant car seat in this instance.
